AC Me Rollin v Journo FC press conference: “This could be another title deciding game.”

Following on from a 2-0 defeat earlier in the season, George Champion and Connor Coglan look forward to this weekend’s highly contested fixture against AC Me Rollin.

When asked how to improve on the last meeting between the two sides, Champion stated, “We need to bounce back with the right mentality, there’s people that I know I can trust,”

With AC Me Rollin currently sitting top of the table heading into the second semester, Champion claims his side are ‘better prepared’, due to having a successful pre-season.

Providing an update on the status of his injured players, Champion revealed Anwar will be out for three weeks, whilst Ryves may pass the fitness test for the weekend.

Describing top-scorer Tyrhys Luko, who currently has 18 goals and 4 assists, Champion labelled the forward as “unbelievable, unreal.”

Club captain Coglan has stressed the game’s importance:

“Last time we played them we didn’t get the result we deserve,

“I think they know this could be another title deciding game.

“We look a lot stronger; we seem like more of a unit. We are a lot more prepared this season to win the title.”

Despite their previous loss against AC Me Rollin, Journo FC holds hopes to right their wrongs and secure the 3 points on their route to the title.

The fixture will take place at 4pm on Sunday 6th February at Langstone Sports Centre.
